Papa John's is not halal in the United States. Its standard pepperoni is made from pork, its meats are not halal-certified, and food is prepared on shared surfaces. A cheese or vegetable pizza avoids the meat, although it is made on shared surfaces. Papa John's runs some halal-certified locations in the UK, but that program does not apply to US stores.
