When you submit a restaurant, send a report, or request owner verification, we collect the information you enter — such as the restaurant details, your message, and, if you choose to share it, your email address. Email is optional except where noted, and we use it only to follow up on your submission.

To prevent spam and abuse, we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address with form submissions. We do not store your raw IP address, and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you.

We log search terms and result counts in aggregate to understand what people look for and to improve coverage. Search logs are not linked to your identity.

Listing information is compiled from public sources (including business directories such as Google) and from verification evidence such as certificates, phone calls, owner submissions, and community input. Every listing shows its verification evidence and a last-verified date.

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, measure how the site is used, and — where applicable — to show advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. It is configured with IP anonymization on and ad-personalization signals off. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We display ads served by Google, including through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. We keep submissions and reports for as long as needed to review them and maintain the accuracy of our listings. You can ask us to delete information you submitted by contacting us.
