About HalalVouch

We help Muslims discover halal restaurants with less uncertainty through transparent verification and structured information — around halal status, certification, zabiha, alcohol, evidence, and how fresh the information is.

What we do

For every restaurant we present the evidence behind its halal status: how the information was obtained, the verification source, its halal tier, and when it was last verified. We are not an Islamic authority and we do not issue rulings — you make your own decision.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t guarantee halal status or use halal-certainty language.
  • We don’t host reviews, ratings, or social features.
  • We don’t take orders, payments, or deliveries.

The “Is it halal?” answers

Alongside restaurants, we publish an “Is it halal?” answer hub for popular chains, ingredients, brands, foods and drinks. We are not an Islamic authority and we do not issue our own rulings. Instead, for each question we research what recognized halal certifiers (such as IFANCA, SANHA, JAKIM and MUI) and established fatwa bodies (such as IslamQA and Darul Iftaa) actually say, summarize it plainly, and link the original sources so you can verify it yourself. Where the schools of law differ, we show the range of views rather than pick one. Read how we research answers.

Help us stay accurate

Community input keeps the guide current. You can submit a restaurant, report incorrect information from any listing, or — if you own a restaurant — submit verification details for review.

Contact

For corrections and restaurant suggestions, the fastest route is the report and submission forms on the site. For everything else — partnerships, press, owner verification, or legal requests — email us at contact@halalvouch.com.
