Yes, monk fruit sweetener is halal. It is taken from the monk fruit, also called luo han guo, so it comes entirely from plants and contains no ingredients from animals and no alcohol. All schools consider it permissible. Blended monk fruit products often add erythritol for bulk, and erythritol is also halal.

The short answer
Monk fruit sweetener comes from a fruit. It has no animal source and no alcohol, so it is halal.
What is monk fruit sweetener?
The sweet taste comes from natural compounds, called mogrosides, that are taken from monk fruit. Monk fruit is a small green melon that grows in southern China, where it is called luo han guo. The sweetener comes entirely from plants, and it has almost no calories.
Are monk fruit blends halal?
Pure monk fruit extract is extremely sweet, so products sold for home use usually mix it with erythritol to give it bulk. Erythritol is a sugar alcohol made from plants, and it is halal. So these blends are halal too.
