Is Chick-fil-A Halal?

The short answer

Chick-fil-A serves no halal-certified chicken at any US restaurant, and the company makes no halal claim. Its chicken is slaughtered by ordinary commercial methods, not the Islamic (zabiha) way that most Muslims require. So Chick-fil-A does not count as halal.

Why doesn't "no pork" make Chick-fil-A halal?
