Halal Wedding and Event Caterers in New York City (2026)

By Imran Qureshi·Last updated October 31, 2026

Looking for a halal caterer in New York for a wedding, walima or Eid party? Below are 6 caterers across Queens, the Bronx, Long Island and New Jersey that we checked. Two handle large weddings: one says it can cater up to 3,000 guests a day, with wedding packages at $30 per person. The others suit parties and office lunches. Five are listed as currently certified in the HMS directory, and one makes its own halal claim, which we label. Every detail comes from the caterer's own website, checked on October 31, 2026.

How we built this list

  • Halal status: from the HMS directory of current certifications. If a caterer is not in it, we quote its own website and label it "Caterer's own claim".
  • Catering details and prices: only from each caterer's own website.
  • Area: the five boroughs plus Long Island and New Jersey, where many New York families hold weddings.
  • Left out: caterers whose websites we could not read or that were hacked, and restaurants that do not say they cater. We will add more as we check them.
  • We have not visited these caterers or checked them by phone. Confirm details and current certification before you book.

Before you book

A certificate covers the meat, not every detail of your event. Ask each caterer the halal questions in our guide to halal wedding and event catering: whether all the meat is zabiha, whether anything is cooked with alcohol, and whether desserts contain gelatin. Ask how many guests a tray really serves, and get the menu and price in writing.

You can check any caterer's current status in the HMS directory, which lists only current certifications.

Where can you find verified halal food in Houston?

On HalalVouch, every restaurant shows its verification tier, whether its meat is zabiha, and the date we last checked, so you read evidence, not just a claim. Here is how we verify.
